RULES & REGULATIONS
1
MANAGEMENT
The Tournament will be managed by the “Beringin Golf
Course Management” (hereinafter called “The Management”)
whose decision in all matters shall be final. The
Management may change, alter or modify the Competition
without prior notice any way as it consider desirable.
2 VENUE &
DATE
The Tournament will be played at Beringin Golf
Course, 44110 Kuala Kubu Bahru, Selangor (Tel : 03-6460
5404), on Saturday 17th May 2003.
3 TEE-OFF
TIME & DRESS CODE
i) The tee-off shall be at 8.00 am and
the Dress Code is golfing attire. Participants must
report to the respective tee box at least 10 minutes
before their starting time.
ii) In the absence of circumstances which
warrant waiving the penalty of disqualification as
provided in Rule 33-7
4 FORMAT OF
PLAY
The Tournament shall be played based on System 36 -
Stableford
5 ENTRY FEE
Each participant will be charged RM60.00 Nett for
APAG and RM70.00 for Non-APAG. The entry
fee is inclusive of buggy fee, tournament fee,
breakfast, lunch and prizes for Winners.
6 FLIGHT
DRAW
Draw will be made two (2) days before the date of
tournament. Participants could ascertain their tee-off
time from the Golf Counter or telephone at 03 – 6460
5404 for further details.
Note:The Management shall have full power and authority
to arrange the order of flight and time for all
Competitors.
7 CLOSING
DATE
Entries must be submitted to Beringin Golf Course
accompanied with entry fee and reach the Club on or
before 14th May 2003 (Wednesday).
8 SLOW PLAY
All golfers are to avoid
Slow Play. Golfer/s may be penalized under Rule of Golf
6-7 regarding undue delay.
9 SCORE CARD
Participants are requested to promptly submit their
score card with signature of the marker and player
immediately after completion of 18 holes. Score Cards
submitted after 30 minutes from the last flight
submitted card will not be accepted.

10 PRIZES
Prizes will be awarded as follows :
a) Overall
Winners
b) Lucky
Draw and/or Ballsweep
Note :-i) Each winner can
win only 1 prize (a and
b)
ii) All winners MUST be present for collection of the
Prize/s failing which the Prize/s will be forfeited.
iii) The Management has the right to change the number
of Prizes and/or Medal without prior notice.
11 TIES (Count
Back System)
In the event of a tie for any placing, the tie shall
be based on handicap (lower handicapper take precedence
over higher handicapper) and if still undecided it will
be on countback system over last 9 hole (2nd Nine on the
card), last 6 hole, last 3 hole and last hole. If tie
still exist, it shall be decided by lot.
12 INCLEMENT
WEATHER
In the event of inclement of weather, which may
prevent the completion of 18 hole play, the Management
has the right to decide Winners based on the number of
hole the majority of the players have played or
otherwise as determined by the Management.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR PRIVATE PROPERTY
All players shall be responsible for any damage to
Club/Private Property while playing on the golf course.
Players shall undertake to repair, replace, compensate
or pay damages inflicted on/to any Club or Private
Property or injuries, or loss of life to any person in
the private property, or elsewhere on or around the
golf course.
14 INDEMNIFY
All players shall indemnify the Club, the
Management, its Director and Staff from any suit,
losses,damages, claims, liabilities, injuries or loss of
life. Players are reminded to insure themselves with an
insurance company or apply at the Club before tee-off.
