APAG ORDER OF MERIT
The
APAG Order Of Merit is a reward system that has
been worked out to benefit members who play
consistently well during the APAG Golf Series
2001/2002. The first leg tournament had kicked
off in September 2001 at Awana Golf & Country
Club featuring the ExcelView & Focus Point
Amateur Open.
The
APAG Golf Series 2001/2002 featuring one Title
Event (8-leg tournaments) that is fully
undertaken by a Title Sponsor will be held
monthly and the more tournaments members
participate in, and win, the more they will pick
up.
How the APAG Order Of Merit
works
Golfers
who win in a particular tournament will receive
points according to a pre-set table (below). How
members are ranked will depend on the tournament
scores over a period of 8 months i.e., from
September 2001 May 2002 (excluding
December 2001). This ranking will remain with
the member unless superseded by another with
better scores.
The
name of winners and their scores will be updated
in each issue of APAG News. The annual winner of
the APAG Order Of Merit will be announced after
the completion of the series of 8 tournaments.
