Generally flat with slight
undulations, Kundang Lakes Country Club
offers golfers two nines of contrasting
characteristics which provoke a
challenging but nonetheless enjoyable
round.
Michael Coate of Australia has designed
the Kundang Nine to be a relatively easy
outing, with virtually no water hazards
to speak of. But the thick rough and
plentiful bunkers (49 on this nine alone)
will penalise loose shots. On the Lakes
Nine, water comes into play on the
majority of holes, thus demanding
precision and good course management.
The club is about 45 minutes from Kuala
Lumpur and 30 minutes from Petaling Jaya,
Subang Jaya, Damansara, Bangsar, Taman
Tun Dr Ismail and Klang. Besides golf,
Kundang Lakes offers facilities like a
restaurant, pro-shop, a large swimming
complex complete with wading pool,
gymnasium, tennis courts, squash courts,
billiards room, children's games room,
library, lard room and multi-purpose
hall.
